About Hope-Believe Recovery Program
The Hope-Believe Recovery Program is an intensive multi-tiered substance abuse recovery program for adult homeless men and women who suffer from addition illness. The goal of the program is to provide recovery in a supportive and structured environment and ultimately empower participants to manage their illness, maintain sobriety, improve health and wellness, and move toward self-sufficiency. Modeled after a 12-Step Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) program, Hope-Believe incorporates illness education, role modeling, peer review & accountability, and a system of rewards to encourage and maintain sobriety. Since its inception in December 2001, more than 300 individuals have participated in the program. Approximately 40% of participants that remained in the program following a 2-week introductory period successfully completed the 6-month program or successfully transitioned to another treatment facility.
