UMD Receives 2011 W. Deen Mohammed Award for Humanitarian Service

UMD is honored to receive this year's award from the W. Deen Mohammed Islamic Center of Durham (WDMIC).
The award was presented on May 14th, during the center's Promoting Human Excellence Anniversary Dinner and Awards Banquet.
The center was established in honor of the late Imam W. Deen Mohammed, Muslim American Leader, and the award is given in recognition for commitment to interfaith dialogue, humanitarian service, and other areas that enrich the community.
